AI disclosure

Every headshot we deliver is created by generative AI from the selfies you upload. Here is exactly what that means.

Last updated October 8, 2026

The short version

Your headshots are AI-generated images, not photographs taken by a photographer.
The AI uses your selfies only to recreate your likeness in a new setting.
Always check your headshots before using them, and disclose AI use where a platform requires it.

01How it works

We send your 1–3 selfies and a style description (profession, background and outfit) to Google's Gemini image model, which creates new portraits of you. A separate automatic check makes sure each upload shows exactly one adult face.

02What the AI changes — and what it should not

The AI changes lighting, wardrobe, background and pose. It is instructed to keep your real facial features, skin texture, age and hairstyle. Like any AI, it can make mistakes, so we show you free previews first.

03Your data and the AI

Your photos are processed through Google's paid API, which does not use them to train models. We delete your selfies and headshots 7 days after delivery.

04Using AI headshots responsibly

Use your headshots to represent yourself. Some platforms, employers or licensing bodies ask you to disclose AI-generated images or require a recent real photograph — please follow their rules. Do not use AI headshots for official identity documents.
